There wont be any problems with this right? I have a 2002 tranny about to be installed. I know one year they made some slight differences but its just basically the revlimiter rite?

Gearing is slightly different and better actually. I have 02 gears in my '00 and with my '00 ecu and high rev limit I can consistantly land the 1-2 shift.

Have fun. I would slip on an LSD and clutch while you are in there if you have the dough.

the '02 ecu uses a different knock sensor than the '01. if you don't have it, i'd just get an '01 or '00 6-speed ECU which will work with the knock sensor you got right now.

Yea i have the ecu from the 02 as well. Actually im getting all the parts from it. He told me it usually takes him around 4 days to complete. I'll let you all know how it goes.

hmm....maybe you should change it to '01-'00 ECU anyway, that is if you can afford it now after probably dumping all that cash on the swap :)

then again, you're already used to the 7800rpm limiter :chuckles:
