Change Those Lift Bolts!!!

I recomend that everyone that has the gts celica to change those lift bolts as soon as possible! Why do i say this?............because when i was changing it, the bolt was broken off! when i unscrewed it, the other half of the bolt was still in the threading. You may not even know that the bolt is broken cause i didn't until i checked those bolts. So you have to drill into the old bolt if it is stuck in there and use easy out screw to get that bolt out. And when you tighten the bolts do not tighten it too much or the nut can break and you will be stuck again.

I was afraid of this. Wish they had them in stock while I had the valve cover off. Did you have to wait for a special order or did they have the bolts available at Servco?

they had one bolt but i ordered the other one and they said it would take three weeks or something like that but it came in a week. it was fast. i still have to replace one of the bolts cause one of my new ones broke.

yeah that's prolly the one bolt they had when I checked on it... I didn't have the time to swap 'em before putting everything back together before the show, but now I think I'd better do that right away. Thanks for the heads up bro... wtg. :)
