have you ever run into a modded (or stock) celica and have the driver talk so much crap about mods or what the car can do, you feel the urge to b*tch slap him/her and teach them a thing or 2??

cuz today i was driving in my rolla :gap: and came across a modded gts. to my dislike, it was a punk kid that said he was runing 13's N/A. after laughing at him for a minute or so, i felt the urge to school him on what i know about the car :furious:

i tell celica owners my car is a OZ Edition Eclipse GS non-turbo FWD :) and i let them talk their ish if they want.. i dont really care.. if they show respect i show it back..

All the celica people i have met were pretty cool. We all said what-sup to each other with the head nod. I havn't met a celica person that talk $hit sayin his car was better just cuz they own that car. In the real world its the same car, just the person thinks he is better thats why he think the same car is better lol. It might be the area?? i don't know. But all the celica people in the 408 i want to say what-sup CELICA PRIDE!!!lol

All the fricking time! I usually just ask if they have a sheet of paper and when they give it to me I write this website address on it and I tell them to go do some reading. There is this kid with a gt with i/h/e and he claims 180 hp from it. I laugh everytime I hear about it.

but here is something funnier
I went to the Toyota dealership with a friend of mine, the salesman didn't have the car he wanted on the lot we were at but he did have it on their other lot so he had one of the car porter guys give us a ride there. We started talking cars and I was like "yeah I wish my friend here would wise up and get a celica" and then the car porter guy went on to tell us about his 450fwhp celica that he used to destroy everyone but it blew up so he's looking to buy a 1996 Accord which the dealership had as a used car. It was HILARIOUS!!! After we got back I got back into my Celica and said "450fwhp what a tool"

i think for the most part, most/good # of celica drivers are "all show" kinda people.

granted there are alot of all go/ show N go celica's out there, but #'s wise......the majority are 4show

Da Kine Guy.. ive always been in the 408.. it's said that in my Location field to ur left.. since ive registered on this site back in Aug. 2000.. 3 years ago! damnnn.. been through 3 cars since then.. my how time flys by..

back in the day.. wen the celica was still unique and brand new.. u said sup to anybody and head nod to anybody and they would do the same.. now thers celicas everywhere.. that and if i tried that now. .they would think i was trying to race them or something..

it's the same with me now. i see hooked up celicas all the time, with kits and appearance cues you'd usually only see on cars from this site or maybe celica.net, kaminari kit, that hood scoop, s2k antenna, but you can get all this from catalogs now, and most of the people don't know and don't care about anything else with regards to the car. not too friendly either. so unfortunately, i almost like seeing stock celicas better than 'modded' ones now.
