if so how many psi are you running and any dynos?

leaning more to see the torque!

There are a couple people but we dont have dynos yet. I know the one guy said it should be done real soon.

is it true that by reinforcing the internals you can achieve a ~220hp as compare to the 180hp we have now? And i mean without adding supercharger or turbo?

No.. The only way thatd be possible is by upping the compression and possibly with cams that we dont have available :)

its coming soon fellas. im trying to decide what to do. put more money in the celica or get a Supra. i just cant decise. I really want a 350+ HP celica. i just think its gonna be too costly. depends on how much i can find a clip for.

Yea it is going to be costly.....click on my sig where my webpage is.....you'll see how much work went into my car to make it custom turbo......You have to really think about it if you want to do a project like this. I did this because I wanted something new instead of getting a DSM,Subaru,etc...I will be running 19psi on pump gas on the street and 24psi with race gas at the track.....My car is almost done so I will posting pictures and dyno runs after I break in the motor. My car will be out as soon as mid week of next week than i'll just have to break it in and that's when I will take pictures and dyno pulls......Hopefully everthing will go well and I won't have to pick up any tranny parts..lol...so for now I will just post this in advance before other people bust my balls...lol

Yea the price is way over the XS kit.....all the internal work was done in my car....XS kit uses stock internals....this cost me altogether 12,000 for this custom work....

why did you choose 9:1 comp pistons, the e-manage instead of a stand alone and what is the custom Torque plate?


and i only expected about 15psi and your thinking of 19 street and 24 race :AF: :headbang: :drool:
do you think the trans will hold? (i hope so)

the shop wanted to go with 9:1 comp pistons,they specialize in DSM's,they did a lot of research about the 2zzge engines......we went with the Haltech E11 but the ignition trigger didn't work so we took out the E11 and went with the Greddy E-manage,and the E-manage works perfectly in my car.......the tranny is what worries me too....the shop that is doing my car took apart my tranny and took a look at it and said that it should be fine.......so we'll soon enough see if it will hold up....lol

wow, it looks like you are going to have the fastest celica GT-S. I had better get cracking on mine if i am going to keep up. So far i have spent $7200.00 on the Turbo and misc. add-ons. im going to allow myselt to spend $3000 more. thats it. that should be enough for the engine build up.

the only thing I DON'T have from that list is a ported head....then again i have a bulletproof tranny and you don't.....race ya! ;)

you DO know that at 24 psi with the garrett T3/T4 on there you will be making around 450-500 bhp right? and you do know that there is no way in hell you could control that right?

Yea i know controlling that thing without LSD for now will leave me with a lot of torque steer which is really going to suck......but for now I'm just going to have to get used to the fact that I have a turbo celica...lol

hes got a gt automatic tranny which is "bulletproof". oh yeah, he also has the "sportshift " conversion by level 10 which supposedly brings his car up to par with a manual. :lame:

I kinow you will hate to do it but what horse power are you expecting i know its going to be hard to say but do you have a ballpark on it. i am working on the same type of project that i will be posting pics of in 3 weeks when its done. but just wanted to tell you nice job!!

thanks......hopefully I will be running close to 350-380 horsepower on 19PSI on pump gas.....its hard to say,only dyno numbers will soon tell.....good luck with your setup,i know mine has been a pain in the ass.....

good luck man....i just broke in my new block and will be hittin the tracks as soon as it opens....did u go bigger bore and what sleeves did u use??? what turbo are u using and whats the trim and the a/r on it???? id list my setup but its too secret to talk about until it is COMPLETELY done...no pics though but my car is gonna be on the xs engineering video..ill keep u people posted..peace

i was just lookin at ur webpage...dont u think ur wastegate is too small????just an idea..u should go for at least 46mm..ull get mad creep....i got a 60mm hks wastegate but u have to relocate alot of shizz to make this fit in our engine bay

how many psi could you run without running sleeves. and what sleeves do you have and where did you get them. i inquired about them they said if i ran 15lbs and under i wouldnt need them thanks

they are darton sleeves but they are very very hard to get..i would pay a little more and try and go though aebs machining, they do awesome work...look them up for sure...i also went with an 83.5 mm bore...good luck on ur project man...come down to so cal so we can grudge....peace

they custom make them with darton just like they do with wiseco and pauter - that is what their xt pistons are! the xt pistons are their brand of pistons but they have them made by wiseco - they will do the same for sleeves just call them up and ask them and they wont say they cant because they can and have
