How to remove this screw thing..

Well i got my car back from the dealership from an accident...ugh...and here's the dirty engine....stupid dealership should have cleaned this crap off...my engine has always been spotless....anywho...they replaced the little screw that i used to have (where u push in the middle and it pops out) to this thing. I tried to do one..but it won't budge....I can't really get a grip on the indentions either since they're plastic..it just ruins the indentions...any one know what to do?

Its supposed to just barely unscrew a little then you pop it out like the push in ones. At least thats how the ones in my trunk worked. If you are afraid of stipping it out, slide a standard screwdriver under the outer lip and try prying it out gently.

Yup, just unscrew it a lil and pry the the thing off:)
