not again....... My Celica got crunched !!

well, here we go again.....

i was over at the bodyshop picking up my freshly painted new Rod Millen sides and carcept roofspoiler. i parked in a spot - not intruding on any other spots in any way. I got out of my car and went inside to pick them up. This guy (john) was inside checking in on his rig that was inside getting work done. He left the shop. I started to talk to dave (bodyshop guy) when.....

SMASH !!! alarm........

Dave saw it happen through the windows while my back was turned towards the celica. He was like "oh **** !!"

so... damage had been done

the guy (john) had backed straight into my celicas driverside - his bumper smashing straight into the front fender , side mirror , and door. the window shattered too.

He (john) was in a GMC suburban. my car just crumpled, while there was no damage to the bumper of his vehicle.

he was pretty cool about everything and offered many many appologies.... he has insurance and we exchanged all that info.

how the **** did he not see my car ? he had to walk right by it as he left the building - i was parked right infront of the doors !!

The fuc-king sucks !! i haven't even had my celica back for a month since the last ordeal (being broke into and stipped)....and i have our first car show of the season on feb 16th.....

dave said he'd be getting started on it tommorow (thurs.) and can hopefully have it back to me within a week for the show - side skirts and roof spoiler added - he feels bad too because it's just like.... i went to him for business and now look what happend !!

(i for some reason REALLY doubt i'll have my celica back in a week though....)

hehe..... i know, this dude (john) is loaded out the ass !! he gave me all his insurance info - right.... but then he says that he'll just pay it all in cash so that he can keep a clean insurance record. (so no matter what it will get paid) The fool was ready to pay for it all right there !! i plan on getting to my car tommorow and i am gonna go all out on damage estimates !!!

ummm.....

door skin, window trim, side mirror, window, fender, paint...... and now umm.... lets see, glass scratches all over driverside seat (gonna need sparcos....i mean seats need new leather)...... door speaker probably doesn't work.....damn..... what else could be wrong ? (gimme ideas on what else guys !!)


like i said..... What else could be wrong that i can get quotes from ? i need ideas !!

(since this guy might be just paying cash to me...sucker hehe !!)

Insurance contributed to the Stripe/Tom D makeover.:) Good luck Dustin with your car man. I hope you get it back in time. Don't worry I'll be without a car next week too cause of my accident. But I will be remade.:D

- i've been thinking this over and over..... this guy doesn't want to go make a claim on his insurance, he gave me all his insurance info, if he doesn't pay for all damages sustained to the tiniest bit then i just call up his insurance.....
