i tried that place. i also tried b5.
the reason y i need a jetta forum is because i want to see if they have a step-by-step guid to changing oil for a 01 jetta vr6.
from wat i read from b5 and vwvortex, jettas need new filter (cost me freakin $18!!!!), "o" rings, and some sort of washer wen chainging oil. on a side note, most of vw owners seem to be replacing there engine oil at 5k miles (weird). does anybody kno where i could find a step-by-step guide to chaing oil for the 01 jetta vr6?

99% of my friends own v-dubs. jetta, gti, golf, carrado, rabit, cabbrio......u name it, they pretty much have it. from what i see, they cange their oil every 3k miles and i highly doubt they spend $18 on a filter
then again it maybe different MKIV jetta's??
