Well folks I hate to say it but LarryD is a cheat and a liar.
Recently I bought a Nitrous kit from him, which he said was BRAND-new. Well come to find out the Nitrous pressure gauge was broke internally, the thread on 50% of the parts were stripped due to over tightening and the use of Teflon tape. The nitrous bottle heater pressure switch was broke, and according to NX someone tried super gluing it back together, the purge NX solenoid leaks, and there was no purge switch in the kit either.
This kit clearly took a dive into that pond with Larry

We have talked this over. I did withhold 50$ because he wouldnt replace any of the parts.
I paid with CC on Paypal, 500$, then another 200$

He sent me some fule pressure gauge thinking it would make everything OK.

I've been on his ass about all this for a while. I just thinking everyone should know how he acts, even after I gave him FREE webspace for 3 months.


In the end it will ALL be my fault I am sure.

So wait, you paid your money, recieved the parts, and were dissatisfied with the condition of them. So your solution was to spend MORE money to fix the parts you were dissatisfied with?

Something gives me the feeling that if you had privately contacted larry at the time you got the parts, and said something along the lines of "sorry, this just wasnt what I had expected, could I have my money back please?" I highly doubt he would have said "SORRY NO RETURNS!" and hung up the phone really quick. You would have gotten your money back, I imagine.

I told him I wasnt going to pay the rest and he threatend to sue me. SO I just payed him the rest.

And I did ask about returning it, he wasnt interested in that. Remember, the kit was given to him. and he needed the money.

I've read all the comments, and I'll leave all the giant bickering between cruzerz and larryd between them. The only thing I'll say is, all the pictures that cruzerz has posted of his car, and his NOS kit installation and everything else, how are you so sure everything was broken prior to you receiving it. From your pictures, everything you are claiming to have been broken prior to you receiving them, was installed on your car before being sent to NX? I mean, if you think something was used to begin with, why did you even install the kit when you received it a few months ago. I dont know specific dates, but it sounds to me like this:

a) larry needs a place to host the site, you offer to do it free for a month or two to see how larry likes it... then to be paid for.

b) larry gets a NX kit that you are interested in, so you two work out your own deal on the kit for webhosting, and additional fees, etc.

c) you install the kit on your car, and post tons of pictures

d) you and larry have whatever differences you have, and he moves the site, wants a refund for webhosting paid he didnt use.

e) you two go at it verbally on the phone/IM, on the website... take your pick.

f) you make a post saying the NOS kit you received a few months ago was "USED" when you got it, but you didnt complain or say anything then before you installed it yourself

g) you send the kit to NX and they say faulty install and will not warranty anything.

I mean, just seems to me to be completely indeterminable to say larry used the kit before you did, and that he screwed up the pieces. If that was the case, why did it take you so long to finally say something about it, and why didn't you complain about he so-called used kit before you installed it in your car?

And for the record, I'm not siding with anyone. You two got your own issues and I dont want anything in them at all... but for someone to say, "you broke something i installed and it cost me more money." after YOU had it installed, and didnt say anything from the very beginning, sounds too much like a farse and a way for someone to cause trouble for no reason.

On the real I was just playing with my other comments but, Cruzers and others, honestly I think half of you only buy the stuff from Larry cause it was his. It's crazy cause Larry can have lets say a rim for instance and it could be scratched and chipped and as fukked up as it can get , but you'll still buy it cause it was Larry's. Sorry if you feel the way you do and Im sorry if this leads other people to not trust me but I cant do anything about it. Maybe ask everyone else who has done business with me how they feel about their products cuz you seem to be the only person who is disstatisfied with me, and deep down inside both you and I know this has nothing to do with the NX kit.. its just simply the fact that you know I dont like you, and I know you dont like me.. atleast Im man enough to admit it..

As for this being an illegal copy of Vbulletin.. thats a funny one, where did you pull that out of your ass?? This copy was purchased by Amjed Mustafa who might otherwise be better known as GTS LAID and I have the license # registered uner his name to newcelica.org. He came forward and offered to get me this software to help out the site without asking for anything in return back in the day and what do you know, some people actually do come through for the site, and dont become backstabbers who just want $$ like some people I know..

So is there anything else you would like to accuse me of Cruzer before I close this post?? Cuz your not gonna hurt me, alot of people on this site know me, and they know who I am.. If someone chooses not to trust me, well then thats their problem...

just an observation from the sidelines: I seem to remember a NX kit on larry's celica that was taken to the track and run 2-3 times. It put down some pretty nice times too, some of the fastest we've seen, spinning the tires in 2nd even. (time slips section is down so I can't locate it)

just for the record, I bought larry's RMM CF WING (the center section), no problems whatsoever, yes its used and I knew that before hand, there were a few very very minor scratches but then its used and I bought it at a good price.. can't complain. It was one of the best purchases I ever made for my celi.

as with the board, $$, sponsor crap.. well all I can say is aren't we here for FREE?? I don't think anything FREE can be this good. Whether or not larry makes money from sponsors or the board is irrelevant. Sponsors are sponsoring the SITE which Larry owns, not us...so why should we get anything out of it anyways?? isn't it good enough that we can read and write all we want for not even a penny???

1. This the most informative and entertaining Celica site I have visited.
2. If this is being run as a business then the profit or loss is the sole responsibility of the proprietor.
3. People who access and contribute to this site (positive or negative) generate the hits which increase the value to an existing or prospective sponsor.
4. The continued growth and prosperity of the site is dictated by it's perceived value to both the contributors and sponsors.
5. Degradation of the perceived value through either site content or performance will impact the profitability of the business.

In summary, I think we are all in this together and make up the business known as NCOrg. Anyone who believes they can exist without the others is sadly mistaken. This is like a TV show, ratings equals ad revenues. Course all of this is just MHO.

Thats funny coming from a person who used his insurance claim money to buy parts other then that listed on the claim. That IS insurance fraud. That is from me to you, since I directly asked you. Since you seem so upfront like you have nothing to hide now, just thought everyone should know you lied about it to begin with when confronted. And while everyone passes judgement on the 'sponsors' money, how about everybody just sit back and replace the word sponsor with 'advertiser'. They are PAYING and knowingly doing so to have a banner posted on a high traffic website which in turn COULD possibly generate them more profit then they have given to the owner of the site.
