Several threads on this one lately. I had that sound, I checked the coolant level (engine stone cold, first ting in the AM). It was low (check the expansion tank that hides under the front plastic in the engine bay).
If you are below the "Min" level (I was) you will suck air into the system every time the engine cools. Just add water or coolant to the expansion tank so you are above the min line when the engine is cold. Start the car, let it warm up. Next time you will have no gurgling noises.

I wish it were that easy...
I am a Toyota/Lexus technician, and I overheated my celi.
You have to acopualy unbolt the tank, disconet the two hoses next to each other on the right, and hook the tank on to the hood latch.
Ther are the directions under the hood on the sticker in the center.
The valve on the block is half way up on the BACK of the block. that is not a bleader it is to drain the block. (not nesicery)
Follow the instrucions. any questions EMAIL me \i am not good with message bords.

No offence but.
I guess this is why service costs so much. Three or four people that I personally know of (me included) have fixed the problem exactly the way Scott described, with no ill effects. Of course if the service tech that changed my coolant during the cars 30K service would have actually filled the system correctly there would have never been a problem.

just fill up the coolant based on the instructions on the hood and you'll be fine.

The gurgling started right after my 30K mile service at the Toyota dealer too! They said I can bring the car to them and they will fix it right up. The service manager said they might need to bleed the system. The coolant level looks fine in my tank, but it gurgles under the dashboard every time I rev the engine from a start.
