The kit is scooting along fine, but because of the accident, the focus has been shifted to the Spyder.
Hey, it's progress, believe me, because getting the Spyder guys onboard means steady flow of income which means it's a LOT easier to talk GM's and others into spending more company money on things.
At any rate, the Spyder is going in on Tuesday, and will hopefully be on it's way to Luke soon thereafter.
And that's about it. Sorry it's not more interesting, it's just been a lot of R&D recently.

Any estimates about when it's gonna be done? Summer, you think or sooner? I don't even own a GT but I'm just curious.

Me and David Draper dropped my car off to get repairs the other day. If Davids back-up dosent work... I have a back-up... so no worries we'll get the kit going.

Hey Darkstar how did your car get wrecked? I'm much to lazy to go looking around on another board for the answer.

The latest news from Toyotacelica.org is that the kit is tunable via a serial port and software which will be included with the kit. So evidently the boost cannot be changed but fuel settings etc. will be tunable.

i think maybe 16s :) jk.. you cant guestimate on times becuz times is all driver based.. you can put a ****ty driver in a 10 second car and they may run 16 seconds :)

NO! Not tunable! The ones we're using are tunable, but the ones in the kits will be hard-coded. That's all I need is someone leaning out the fuel mixture! :AF:

There seems to be some confusion on this point. Matt has said that it will be tunable with software which is released with the kit.

FYI, the ECU will not be tunable. It will be hardcoded, and that's it!
I think Matt was talking about the ECU that is going on the volunteers' cars.
Car's in the shop getting fitted, so there is progress.
I'll keep ya posted...
