"push it up" as in make it a later date.
Ya I got a spring/shock and intake to install.
Just to digress - If anyone is looking to buy a underbody neon kit and use that as their install Mod. I have 1 GOLD series StreetGlow kit left over from the Groupbuy. GB price is $140.
If anyone wants it I'll sell it to you for $125. This is the same kit that retails for $299 but who pays retail..? except Viola lol. Its all luv Vi.
BTW - Underbody kit color is Red.

lol shhh..what color is it anyway? just asking..i would rather install it in spring...

Question, where the hell are you gonna do this? How are you gonna bring all those tools to a meet?
Manny_TXtreme
09-25-2003, 01:20 PM
For shock/spring install you can rent the compressor from autozone for free. You leave a deposit which I believe you get back once the tools are returned. The rent period is for up to 30 days.
For everything else (Intake install etc..), you only need basic tools.

Viola, we may be able to trouble shoot it for you, if not just help you install it. Kenny is a master installer so he's good at that stuff and get's it done right :)
I hope I can afford my intake before we do this so I have something to do if I can make it.
If no one want's to hold it at their place, depending on the day you pick for it, I can see if the shop isn't booked..

Good price. But other than that I dont think anything could lure me to pick Injen over AEM..
LOW END power!!!!
You cant compare the roar you get from an AEM to an Injen. Nope..I refuse to pick Injen ova AEM.

i don't understand the logic behind this. when u "speed" or "race", your in the higher part of the revs and it's a KNOWN fact that Injen gives better high end power than AEM

took the thoughts right outta my head on that one.
reason being why I'll be stickin to Mods. I havent been to E-town in almost 1 year but it would be great to go back sometime. However, I also wanna make this meet a success before the weather gets shiaty.

ok.....then it's set for 2 different days then.
but where can we have a mod meet?? i would have loved to have it at my house, but my driveway can barely fit 2 cars with out 1 of the cars being on the side walk.
NE1 know of a good spot?? i know krysy said that she "might" be able to host it, but can some1 follow up on this??
Manny_TXtreme
09-27-2003, 11:55 PM
Ok ya my driveway when packed can fit about 7-8 cars and that is not including the 2 car garage. The driveway is shared and I would have to request for full use of it before hand but the problem might be the clearance for anyone whose car is lowered 2" or more with an aftermarket kit and no more than high profile tires on 18" rims.
Other than that..I think ya fine.

KrysyGT
10-01-2003, 01:35 PM
Okay here's the deal.
The shop is ours on Saturday the 18th if that is a good date. We will be there to open around 10am and can stay as long as you like.
We can order like pizza or something for lunch.
We are located in Deer Park just off of Bayshore Ave, near Deer Park Ave. I will post specific directions later on. Like I said our shop has room for 2-4 cars inside depending on the job, and we have a huge parking lot out front. We also have a room with a TV and playstation and whatnot set up.
We have tons of tools, but I suggest you still bring your own just in case we don't have something on hand, or if something that you need is being used.
ALSO- to add to the fun of mod day, we are opening accounts with Import Fan and Extreme Dimensions.. We are placing our opening buys within the next week, so we are offering 15% off the lowest prices on their sites. If you would like to order something we can possibly have the parts in by the mod day for you to work on!!!
The specifics are as follows:
15% the LOWEST PRICE LISTED off all GTP parts and C Wings parts at Import Fan.
www.importfan.com
15% off all parts at Extreme Dimenstions.
www.extremedimensions.com
If you want to order email me the part #'s and descriptions:
Krysy@optonline.net
or you can call the shop at (516) 702-1130. Speak to Kenny and tell him you are from newcelica.org and know Krysy. :)
I hope this works out :)

Krysy, just outta curiousity, how far/long from that meet we had in CT is your shop? im supposed to be entering my car in a NOPI show on Thursday the 16th in NYC (not exactly sure where but my Eclipse and RSX buds already entered and want me to). They are staying at a hotel that night and then heading home Friday afternoon. And i would go to your shop but I dont really want to pay for a hotel room 2 nights in a row. So i might drive home that Thursday night after the show then MAYBE drive down to your place and meet all you guys if its not too far. Ya get me? Let me know.
KrysyGT
10-02-2003, 02:50 AM
hey. i know that you don't know us that well, but rather than do all that driving you are more than welcome to stay at our place if you'd like!!!
It's not a bad drive at all, we did the ferry route... it was like a half hour from the ferry in CT, an hour ferry, and then our shop is a half hour from the ferry in NY. SO I am guessing it would be a 2-3 hr drive without taking the ferry.

The shocks have to come out when you do the springs anyway, so if you want replace them that is the time to do it since they are out anyway...
