Well, I'm in the process of doin it, and boy oh boy, it's pretty much a pain in the ass...
2 hours spent removing panels and factory alarm last night
another 1-2 hours finding wires, about (50%) of them.
So, to any of you that have installed one, anything special I should look for?
I'm havin issues finding + headlight and parking light wires, but I haven't dug around all that much yet.

i'm guessing you have the installation guide.... putting in the av4 with the omnisensor, glass breakage sensor, and smartwindow module took a head installer at the audio shop.. with me watching and helping sometimes.... GHASP.... 8 hours.... cost me 400 bucks... but they warranteed all the work so i wont have to pay for it.
by the way.. when you install your immobilization unit make sure you remember where you did it... otherwise you're gonna have to flatbed your car back to your place cause IT WONT START... and leave the blackjax option off for the first couple of weeks of driving.
another tip.. .you cant leave the radio running while you're in the car with the ignition in the accessory position. if the car is not on the alarm autoarms after 30 seconds... you can make it longer or turn the option off.
if you want suggested locations heres where the people put everything in my car:
main unit, light sensor, glass breakage microphone - left part of dash (where the inspection sticker goes), and intellistart
immobilization unit - top right of dash connected to ignition wire.
proximity sensor (the radar one) is right attached to the console right next to the shifter (make sure its stuck upright)... omnisensor and piezo dualstage shock sensors are both under the trunk storage lid thingie.
under the hood the smartsiren is right next to the cruise control... good mounting point.
I had to take one out myself, and it was so much not fun that I couldnt force myself to put it in instead I took it to the installer and they put it in... much better... but I'm 400 dollars poorer... oh well.. you get what you paid for i guess.
good luck man... PM me if you have any other questions.

It's all good... I got it done... I spent a crapload of time doing it, but I took my time, and did a pretty good job I think..
I left out the headlight wire, and definately disabled the autoarm... damn alarm went off at 12:30AM right when I finished and was putting my tools away.
I haven't added the wireless immobilization yet, I had no idea there was a glass breaking sensor, is that that long looking thing w/2 wires coming out? lol
oh... I have a relay diagram that I made for bypassing remote start if the car is in gear, I'll post it once I make it a jpg... total cost ~ $10 from radio shack
