What's the 15k mile check-up?

My celica's approaching 15k miles (14,344), and wondering what this 15k mile checkup is, what they'll do, and how was yousr like.

I also wanna know if I can just skip it because last time i checked they told me it cost $199.99..

In Scheduled Maintenance Guide:
Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Replace air conditioning filter

Inspect the following:
Ball joints and dust covers
Brake lines and hoses
Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
Differential oil
Drive shaft boots
Exhaust pipes and mountings
Steering gear box
Steering linkage and boots
Engine air filter
Nuts and bolts on chassis and body


You can do pretty much everything yourself. That

I think i'm just gonna do it myself then since to me... it doesn't seem to important? or required? or mainly because i don't wanna spend the extra $200. rather buy a CAI :]
