Spring install difficulty?

Thinking of picking up a set of springs or coil-overs... are these very difficult to install for the average home mechanic? I know it's all relative to what you've done but any advice would be cool. Also do you have to have a spring compressor to install these?

My opinion is that if you consider yourself to have an average level of mechanical abbility you could install them with little problems if you had instructions.

You definately need a spring compressor. Spring compressor's are cheap.
