Sup people,
Im new to this forum, im thinkin bout toyin round with a Celica GT that I got my hands on...I want to lower it first but someone told me that the suspension on celicas are quite a bit different from that of Hondas...I figure it cant be nearly as complicated as the SH lude im driving now...
Can anyone give me any pointers on a Coilover installation...Just the simple coilover from Skunk or Arospeed type...Thanks
Domz.

You'll find the front is straightforward, the rear is tricky because of the control arm in the way of dropping the strut completely out of the tower. When you drop it down, you can either unbolt the lower control arm and lower it, or you can spin the strut assembly downwards (after you've dropped it partially out of the tower) until it drops out enough for you to pull it out.
Assembly of the sleeve-type coilover is basically the same thing as you've done with your Honda. Only thing you'll find tricky is the rear, but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

We do have SOME stuff in stock right now for Celica... I think mainly just Injen intakes tho. I know we have CAIs in stock for both GT and GT-S.
What are you looking for? If we don't have it I can suggest somewhere else to get it.
But if you have time, drop by the shop and check us out!

We're located in the Cannery Row wharehouse building across from Home Depot and Costco in Iwalei, a little ways behind Volcanos on Nimitz. We're open from 11-7, and for right now 7 days a week until the shop really gets off the ground. If you have trouble finding us, just give the shop a call.

Hey,
Cool I think I'll swing by your shop sometime...
By the way, yes unfortunately it is a GT...and even worse its an Automatic...What can I say, I didnt pick it. I do love the way it handles though. It seems like a fun car to toy around with though...Im really just focusing on the asthetics of the car for now. My girl is the one whos gonna be driving it most of the time. Im looking for a nice clean kit, something away from the TRD package and the WW package...Also looking for a Hood and some rims.
Let me know alright.
Thanks for all the help!

Let me check if we're ready to do that kind of work at the shop (legally and insurance wise). I'll get back to you.

We're able to pull in direct from Japan body kits for Celica as well as carbon/FRP hoods. We aren't dealing with domestic manufacturers at this time (erm, as far as I know). This does mean big bucks tho, but it's well worth it. Basically if you're looking for JDM bodyparts for your Celica, we're the place to go.
Sean (main numero uno munky in charge) has some J-Blood bodykits, FRP hoods, and carbon hoods for AE86 stocked in the shop on display so you can check out the quality FRP and Japan carbon fiber has to offer.
If you have something else in mind, let me know what you're specifically looking for and I can check and see if it's something we can get. :)
