My name is Rory and I used to live down their, I am now in the reno area, but I am going down to vegas to visit family Feb 16th-20thish, I wanted to get together and meet some vegas Celica folks have a little minimeet maybe, maybe check out the Roar Inc Stuff, I have a digital video camera and stills too. hey rory, sweet that your coming down if you want to get together the only times i'll be able to meet up is maybe on tues the 19 afternoonish or later and wed the 20 afternoonish or later. Reason is I leave on the 15th for berkeley cali to check out the campus and for a debate tournament and don't come back till like tues morning. I'm sure inline and chumpchiggy would be down to get together. If you want there is an auto-x on feb 17th you could go to at the LVMS here's our regions website http://www.lvrscca.org/ i'll be running again in the march 17th event if you want to come down then.

Im thier im glad you guys are having autocross so soon, this will be perfect. Hopefully Inline or chumpchiggy will respond. Anyhow I should be around all week so maybe we can just get something together later that week. I will be at the autocross though,

sweet that'll you'll be able to hit the auto-x, i can't find my dang day planner right now which has my schedule for tues and wed like what time exactly i get back etc, i htink i left it at school so i'll grab it tomorrow. Just to give you an early heads up so you can hopefully clear you schedule to come, on june 15th and 16th the auto-x will be held at spring moountain motorsports park (the home track for bragg smith driving school in parumhp we run the auto-x on the lower road course and it's a real blast and an event that's well worth the drive. David rock came from az to the last SMMP auto-x we had and won STS on the sat event with his GTS.

advice i forgot earlier, i read you post in the auto-x forum and since your starting out when you get to the event ask around and see if you can find gene rolfe he really really helped me out when i first started out he should be there if you want email me and i'll give you his email address, if you want to get introduced to some people before hand drop by www.sccaforums.com (i'm krazykarim on that board) and post in the southern pacific division section that you'll new and you will be attending the event cindy art kam and other will give you a nice warm welcome and that way you'll know some people to help you out at the event, if you want to experiance a ride with an incredible driver that will leave you at the edge of you seat find marvin maize and his BSP corrvette number 13 and ask him for a ride, he usually loves to give rides and you'll find out why they call him marvin amazen maize.

good luck and have a good time and meet some of these people like Gene(the guys i told you about) Kam(drives a yellow CRX) ray(drives a black honda del sol) mark(drives a very nice old school 300z turbo) etc they are very cool people, we might even end up competing against each other in the north shout shootout in hawthorne NV come may. Dang i wish i could make it to this event
