short ram vs CAI

Hey all! another newbie here
I have a GTS with sportshift, but I'm undecided wether to
get a short ram or a CAI. From the other posts it seems like
the CAI gives you more HP. Any suggestions?
Is it the same thing? and will it void the factory warranty?

Get the CAI. If it is the cause of your engine failing they will void the warranty. But then again, save your stock parts and say it "just happened".
