From Baltimore its north about 45 minutes right off 95 (for the most part)

Theres alot of Lightnings that run there....just about all of them run 12s.....

What's the plan for next Friday? Sounds like a pretty cool way to spend the evening. You going up with some of the guys from the plaza? What time are you planning on going? I get out of work at 8:30 and if the times look reasonable I will try and head up. I'd like to see what kind of a difference the Vishnu package will make in your quarter time and trap speed.

Turbo XS cars are going up also.... Phils is putting out close to 300hp to the wheels!!!

They close the lanes at 10:30 and then run the rest of the cars out....... so they will be open to maybe 11:30 or so.....

Sounds like larryd should have got a GSX;)... no traction problems and no speed limiter!!

how fast have you had that celica up too? My WRX topped out doing 150.... the speedo only goes to 140... after that theres the letters "MPH"....I was past "M" (going right to left), which looked to about the distance of 10mph when compared to the rest of the Speedo...it was probably a little more...and yes it was going down hill...no flaming please...:)

I also was able to verify with a friend of mine in an MR2 turbo that was rolling with me....his speedo goes to 160 and was registering 150 while I was in front of him....and he was not pulling either....I was :)

Looking at my gearing, 5th would take me to 181mph if I had the HP/TQ.... I wanna swap out 4th and 5th for lower gearing....right now they are both OD gears.....4th will help me in the 1/4 mile too! Its worthless to be geared to 181....gas mileage would not suffer that bad..........

5th gear fuel cut-off is 142-3 something like that prolly been around 140 and like 150 on my speedo when it works its usually seems to be high like 5-10 mph.

a stock WRX is drag limited to 143 (auto are elec. limited to 130).

But that 143 could also be overcome with better 4th and 5th gearing....oh well... I wanna six speed!!

yea my speedo works when it wants to. Theres a bug somewhere in the system w/ the speed sensor cause the OD stops also. One of these day i'll get off my ass and figure out whats wrong.

best bet is to pay the $10... watch til you hearts content and near the end before you leave get a run under your belt.....

huh? I am not sure I follow....I own a WRX, and barring bad weather there will be at least 10-15 WRXs there.....

Icy- hey, the odo thing being done is a nice side effect... perhaps its one of those things you can live with. If you let me know your stock gear ratios (1-6, FD) and tire size, I can plug them into a spread sheet and tell you exactly what RPM in what Gear equals what speed.... might come in handy!

icy- what ended up being your best run?

I got 4 runs in....

Run 1- 13.577 @ 99.44 (wasn't ready, I got to the track and ran like 20 mintes later!! and also hit the rev limiter in 3rd)
Run 2- 13.332 @ 101.10 (new personal record!)
Run 3- 13.390 @ 101.26 (best mph and R/T)
Run 4- 13.346 @ 101.05

Best 60' of the night was 1.855 on run 2. But I also got a 1.857 on run 4.

Run 3 I actually tried to get a good reaction time....0.534, I was happy with that....but I think trying for a good reaction time hurt my launch, as I only mustered (not trying to be cocky here:)) a 1.910.
