Where are my autoXer buddies at??? ;) I got alot of SCCA friendly 2pt rear chassis braces to be sold to you racers. If you haven't seen them, they are easily removable and garrenteed to be stronger than anything else on the market. And nobody else makes a rear 2pt bar for our cars. I have lowered the cost to $100 which includes shipping to anyone in the lower 48! Any color you want too. If your interested email or PM me.

I'll probably think about it in a couple of months, we'll see. I have to decide if I want to fall into the money pit of non-stock racing.

I'll do a front brace first becasue they don't interfere with cargo space...

Braces in general aren't real high on my list due to how stiff the chassis is to begin with.

I have noticed on several occasions that my Celica is perfectly happy resting on 3 jack stands, the stiffness indicating just how uneven my garage floor is.

I can also jack from any one point on the car and still open and close all doors normally, you can't do that with many cars due to flex.

$150 on a sway bar will be money better spent for handling...

autoxr: Just wanted to let you know that is why I built my rear bars to be easily removable. So you can take the bar out in 5 minutes and have all of your rear hatch cargo area. ;)

Easily removable....

That means my wife can remove it when she wants, without having to carry a 14, 15, or 17mm wrench with her at all times...

My car is a shared daily driver...

Well you need a 1/2inch wrench. But For most it's not a problem. As you usually take the rear bar out at your home. She could do it. My wife has done it already. For the rear 2pt. there is two 1/2 inch nut/bolts to take out. My new rear 2pt bars will only use one bolt on each side.
