Factory CD changer Question

Is the wiring for the factory cd changer allready in the car (I have an '00 GT-S)? I was thinking about looking for one at a junkyard, but don't know much about it. Is it in the center console or trunk for this model?

Are there any aftermarket ones that would be worth looking into? I don't want to change out the head unit - just thinking about getting a changer.

The OEM changer simply plugs into the OEM head unit. It's a trunk mounted changer, but that does not mean you can't mount it somehwere else.
