hey all, i wanted to get some info, where do all of you with a 6 speed gt-s slip your clutch at the drag strip?

im a clutch dumper, sometimes when u slip u fall :thumbdown:

Slip. If I dump I get really bad wheel hop.

help me out here, at what rpm's? i have only had my car for a month and i am totally guessing where to slip or drop it at the strip.

Try about 5k rpm. It's very bad for your clutch though. Be careful on the 3-4 shift.

i dump around 3700
i guess if your slipping u can rev as high as u want, it all depends on how quick/slow u slip it

From what I recal the veterans saying, slip at 4,500RPM, and when you start moving, dump it. You are going to have to practice off the strip. Dumping in a FWD car isn't too good, weight transfer, and the little torque this engine provides will yield crappy launches.
