I think the elementary school is ok, but the middle and highschool levels are just way too small. I went there for my freshman year and had only 12 classmates LOL.
I constantly got demerits and detention for swearing hahaha.

clint you forgot to mention why you only went there for a year...i heard you got da boot when you flashed the male teachers and said, "ima bad munky" one too many times.

LOL you bastard. :gap: I think the parents just didn't want to pay the $3k+ tuition a year to send me there after that first year. It wasn't my choice to go there in the first place since all my friends went to Pearl City, but I got used to it after a year and actually liked the tight knit classes. But I don't think the quality of education is very high... my Japanese teacher doubled as the cafe cook, and all I learned from her was how to ask where the bathroom was. Only 2 or 3 of the teachers I had there actually seemed like qualified teachers.

Nah I think the elementary school teachers are actually ok, but once you get to high school it's a different story. I dunno about now, since I was there in '91.

yeah HBA is wayyy to small. I got busted big time for bringing a airsoftgun to school and lighting firecrackers in a locker room. Had to wash 2 school buses one weekend for detention. After that I laid low big time until I graduated. I wasnt trying to be a bad kid I jut wanted to have some fun but it wasnt worth getting kicked out.

stop bashing my alma mater...
we had the largest class in the history of the school... 138 students...
it was a really great school... just dont send your children there forever. send um to public school first to get them roughed up a bit...

yeah it does. if you went there from elementary school till graduation I really feel for you, unless of course you had a good kicking from friends in other schools.
I recall transfering in during my junior year and realizing how sheltered some of my classmates were. Some of them hated college because no one cared about you the way they got babied in highschool. Talk about shell shock.
