Okay guys !!
This is very bothering me... I was putting on the indigo gauge on top of the stock one. But dunno why I took it out the stock one. Anywayz, I broke the very tiny needle. Not the orange thing, the silver needle that connects to the orange part.. Okay I went to toyota service and that dood quote me that part cost $ 1200 CDN..It's the whole replace. The entire gauge...PHUCK !!!! Okay this damn car is lease...and I don't really want to buy the TRD gauge. So what should i do ? Glue it back togther ? bad idea, bullshiet to dealer so it can get fixed by warranty? What kind of BS should I say??? HELP HELP !!! BTW, it's the RPM..
Now, my miles/h doesn't seem accruate either !! shouldn't have took them apart ...... help please

same thing i did.. and I was told the same thign. they dont sell that piece individually.. so you either gotta get one out of a junk yard or a new unit from toyota, btw dont get it locally.. get it online from like www.wctoyota.com or somethnig, will save alot of money.. closer to 600USD..

Don't panic. This isn't that bad. It's not like your car isn't working. :)

If I was in your awful situation I would try my hardest to glue it back on or improvise in some other way. I'm sure you can rig something up with some clever "engineering". The metal part just spins and I'm sure you can fasten something on to mount your needle back on. Maybe solder would work. I dunno, but I'd probably try it. Or crazy glue.

As far as your speedometer goes, you can recalibrate that yourself. Drive on the highway and match speed with a friend going 65 and plop your needle right on the dash. I actually looked at the speedometer of another car driving by at night on the highway to calibrate my speedometer :) Cruise control is useful while calibrating your needles.

Here's what I am gonna try....put crazy glue on the needle and let it dry. Take it out so I can aim it more accurately..Does that souund good to you guys???..damn I hope that works.. Or should I stick it back and tell dealer the needles are way off??? HELP GUYS

crazy glue doesn't work too well on metal.

you may also want to look into jb weld or epoxy in case the crazy glue don't work
