this past weekend i traded in my 97 honda prelude for a 2000 celica gts 6spd.... i'm so happy with the celica! the celica is a far superior car! the engine is awesome! i like the hatch more than the coupe, the stock in dash player and sound system are far better.
my brother drives a silver 2000 gts 6spd, mines spectra blue....
i guess we'll be having a few battles now.

ive been in love with this car the year and 10 months ive had it.
take care of it.
get a cold air intake and you'll love it even more:)

Glad you got your hands on an 00 as well. That fuel cut off thing with the 02's would break my balls. :ugh:

yeah i was really happy i could get a 00 as well.... i really didn't wanna be cut off right at redline..... yeah i think i'll get an intake to start.

Intake is the BEST undisputed way to go for a pure performance 1st mod. It's unbeatable just because of the sound you get with it. Screw the stereo.. CAI is the best sound system out there. .


then get some springs....

Welcome to the 6 speed club. Your on the right path with the CAI. Get springs after the CAI.

what do you guys think is better aem or injen?

Yes welcome to the 6 spd club ... i made my switch from auto GT to my new 02 GT-S 6 spd last month .... get injen .... they are better soundin IMO. But they both got good qualities .. im lookin at a short ram myself(injen).

Both myself and 6SPDGTS are gunna tell you AEM. I like it simply because the install looks "cleaner"...... you don't have to cut anything out of the norm with the AEM.
