During 2001 december break, I went back home to singapore, and got a ride in my friends Evolution 6.5, The Tommi Makkinen Edition ... He put tons of mods in it....and when its on the road it sounds like its the 4th of July...goddamn.....He uses the Ultronics System, or Anti-Lag.... causing those damn loud bangs.....it runs hella fast, and launces at full1.8 bar of boost.... somewhere around 20+ psi .... can u imagine four wheels spiniing b4 it launches....with 4 guys in the car...goddamn ...its a monster.... Oh yeah...btw... that guy under the car... He is My CAR GOD....
he used to drive an old MINI Cooper... the old one...not hte new ones.... and he basically stripped the damn thing and did a lot to it...and raced it back home... then he went nuts and transplanted a Kawasaki Bike Engine into the damn thing... changed his shifter to a sequential one ... and off he went hahaha ...

Now hes doing an intership at TVR ...thats right...in the UK .... I pray to this man .... :bowdown:

After that...hes coming back Singapore to finish a project, hes building a SAE formula race car... dont know how many of you follow that ... but its being held in detroit next year....its gonna be a big event. .... ill be there :D

vodox, U get to check out that Garage R mod shop while u were in Singapore? I went there over the summer. It was insane. Felt like a little kid in a candy shop. They had EVO 5, 6,7s, Skyline GT and GTR models, jdm style teg type R, etc, etc. Tons of parts in the show room too. It was amazing =) They were telling me that the singapore gov't is mad strict about modding cars. U can hardly do anything to them. So most of the people with badass cars are rich doods who have them as their second car and take them out late at night to race heh. I saw a couple insane looking EVOs on the streets during the day tho.

Hell yeah.... thats where ny friends and i hang out when they fix their cars..... heheheh ... its a nice place...... didja enjoy singapore...nice skylines huh :D
