Coil-overs

Does anybody know how coil-overs work? I've heard a lot about them, but I'm not sure exactly how they work.

they let u adjust ride height of the car.....

ok, that sounds good. How is this done though? Is it like a switch or what? How long dose it take and is it fully adjustable to whatever height etc...

its not a switch but kinda like a perch that lets u adjust the height

Think of a nut and bolt that you have to screw into the bolt. Its screwing it up and down....thats some funny way of putting it
