View Full Version : alarm placement concerns;don't let this happen to u!

when I had my alarm installed, it was placed under the hood, next to the a/c tube. there was only 1 screw holding it but it kept getting loose. so I used several zip ties to secure it. after some time I find that the a/c tubing has been rubb into so much so that it was close to making a hole. currently I moved it from the engine to under the plastic windshield cover.

anyone have pics of their alarm location?

they put the whole alarm under the hood?????? that's just dumb!

are you talking about the alarm horn or the whole alarm itself??

the horn :chuckles: didnt know they were called horns these days. haha just givin ya some **** man.

but my siren is under my engine plastics.

I have mine above my fog light on the drivers side. You'd have to remove the bumper to get at it.
