Warning: long Post...
I have a few more outstanding questions before installing and using my kit
Installation:
1) Which fuse(s) should I connect the kit too?
Arming
Mallory
TPS
Remote Bottle Opener
Heating Blanket
Purge Button
2) Can they all go on the same fuse or should that be distributed?
3) can I use one switch to start
example: I open the bottle (switch one).
I arm (button two)
bottle heater on
Mallory on
TPS on
5) Calibrating the TPS switch:
The manual states the following:
After all wires are connected have an assitant open the throttle to maximum and hold it. If the LED is "ON" using a small blade screwdriver, turn the adjustment screw clockwise until the LED goes out, now rotate the screw one full turn into opposite direction. the switch is now ready for use. Close the throttle, the LED should go out.
Question:Should the engine be on for that and if so wouldn't that hit the limiter and potentially damage the engine while standing?
Or should the ignition key just be turned to allow electricity but in that case wouldn't the engine be flooded with gas and if so could this hurt the engine?
4) Drilling the hole for the blow down valve...
Do I need to be concerened about the fuel tank or any other obstacle? (planning on installing the bottle on the right side of trunk)
5) Where is the fuel line located and where should I slice in?
6) I got the mallory switch today (the new 646 digital one) and it's pretty big. What's the best location for that sucka.
Usage:
1) the manual states you can not spray longer than 20 seconds at a time. How long do I have to wait before I can spary again?
2) Can I arm and activate the system while driving?
since the system is usually activated via wot instead of the FnF push button.
Can I get this feature by just arming the system if I want to spary while already driving
(this is a more retorical question....)
Please no hating or flaming...some of these might be ignorant questions but I have not found any answers on those.
Thanks
