I havent been around in a while due to the fact I got married on August 30th and changed jobs earlier this year. I actually work for a Subaru/Mazda in sales now. No engineering jobs so I thought I try this and its worked out even better. 150% increase in salary.
Well the car I got for my wife is an 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege in Laser Blue. Sticker is 21k and I got it for 17k because Ive worked for mazda for more than 6 months and the $500 college grad rebate. The car is great and the handling is unbeliveable. Its nice now to have a turbo car with lsd and and 8300 rpm GT-S.
BTW I ran 14.43 with my GTS this year with 100k on the odo.
Hope all is well with everyone here and I am glad I have more time to post now.
Peace
Ryan

Good choice and killer deal for the MSP. 14.4 w/100k miles is great for a GTS. Welcome back :D

Its actually not that rough at all unless you hit a nice size pothole. This is probably more due to the fact the car wears 17's.

On Order for the MazdaSpeed is Manual Boost Controller, Injen CAI, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fuel Pressure Reduction Kit, Autometer Boost Gauge and Air/Fuel Gauge, and Greddy Type S BOV. By time the spring come ill hopfully have ditched the ****ty stock intercooler for a nice FMIC.

Whats up Andy,
Hows the kid? No WRX not worth the extra money cause I am saving for a house after paying for the whole wedding. I got the Mazdaspeed for 17,000 (Sticker was 21,000) because of the discount I get for working for Mazda. Three year oan and ill try to pay it off in 2 so I can get my STI sooner. Another reason for going for the mazda. Give me a call sometime so we can meet up.
Lous got a wrx BTW he sold the celica.
