im glad i picked the celica cause its a lease and there is a tiny aftermarket

if i had leased the WRX....with the aftermarket they have i woulda modded it to hell and had to buy the damn thing out..........good thing i didnt do that

Back when I chose the Celica, I would have probably chose a Integra GS-R or Impreza 2.5RS (RSX, WRX, SRT-4, etc. didn't exist either).

YES!!!! good choice man....what year XJ? any plans to build it up/wheel it?

as for me if when i was lookin for the celica its what i wanted, but if it wasnt around, i woulda defiately gotten a jeep or a chevy truck. i prefer 4x4's for daily drivers anyday...and sports cars as toys.

nowadays, ill ALWAYS have a jeep for the rest of my life, whether its a daily driver, or purely trail rig(like a POS built up CJ-5 or somethin). but no mater what ill always have a jeep in the collection!!

hmm ok lets see...my father ordered the Celica in March of 99 when I was still 16. It ended up being my b-day present by the time it got delivered in July of 99. Was I supposed to reject it? I think not.

In anycase I ended up cosigning with my mom for a yellow SLK 230 anyways..and that I just got rid of hmm.3 weeks ago.

So ya..if I hadnt gotten a Celica..I wouldve gone for a 4 passenger mercedes instead of the 2 passenger SLK which my girl and I thoroughly enjoyed during the summer time.

nuff' said.

No i just dont see the big deal on the EVO, when my friends 99 328I walked an evo, and i beat my friends beamer it got me wondering even more.

Im glad i have my wrx now and i love it!!! you can drive mine it will give you a hole new different perspective of things.

Well, I was supposed to get a 2000 XJ Last night, but they were trying to rape me on the trade in price for my celica, so I had to walk. But, within in the next two- three weeks I should have a one in my driveway. I plan on throwing on a lot of things...can't decide if i want a Rubicon express 3.5" lift or an Old Man Emu 3" Lift...but yeah, i've got lots of plans for it.

dood.....IMO...go for the RE hands down...they make KILLER stuff....but they also tend to have crappy customer service at times...but the product makes up for it.

also....if you plan to wheel it at all...make sure to armor it up. rocker guards, transfer case skid, gas tank skid, etc. good luck finding a good deal on your trade and purchase!

the return of the 4g63 is a big deal. thats one of the most strong stock motors ever made. plus bring the evo to the us is one of the best decisions mitsu has made :thumbup:

BTW....if a GT walks a GTS, does it make the GT a faster car??

oh yeah almost forgot, realistic choice #2 was a blue WRX impreza (just like 99interlude's). My only reasoning for not getting it was because I wanted a 2 door hatchback. Not a 4-door sedan.

The REX was already released cuz I bought my car new in '01. ;)

washer lights... those are hot!!! but i dont have the hood mounted washer nozels if you notice in the hood pins pic......

i'll give ya a call when im ready for the welding :) i cant decide if i wanna mount them right into the bumper or make a custom setup on the front of the hood like on the rally cars :gap:
