flames on celica?

i was talkin to a guy the other day about paint jobs. I have been wanting to learn how so i could do my own design on my car. Yet he kept suggesting flames? I heard flames on imports where a bad idea? I personally don't think it would look that good. The 7th gen is a little more straight, not as smooth as the other models. so im not sure if flames would do. just need to learn how to do it myself.

It's your car so do whatever makes ya happy, but IMO it wouldn't look good. About the only thing flames should be on (again, just my opinion) is a classic roadster or something like that.

Don't listen to what that guy has to offer you. IMO the celica would look better with no graphics at all, but if you wanted to. You could make a design of what you want and take it to a vinyl shop and they should be able to produce it for you. You could get it airbrushed on also, but more $$$.

ya..muscle cars are the best...mmm chevy. i thought about vinyl too. i really haven't seen much of this guys work. i need to check out some graphic shops

When the person designes them right, I think that flames look really good on celica's.

I don't remember the screen name of the owner, but I think he has a pretty cool car. He has N2O and a pretty cool trunk set up too, which is posted in the audio forum's trunk set up thread.

I usually don't honk. I usually wave!! :) As far as her car, that wasn't hers. And she still has the WW kit. They are real hard to get ahold of!!!

The flames on that blue trial celica looks good. They need to be done right, like on this mazda. I think this would look good on a celica, need the right color though.

last year i saw a silver celica in my high school with orange flames, it looked worse than my friend's silver celica, and her car always had a crack in the bumper somewhere (she's a bad driver haha.)
