im personally not very impressed by the 4g63 i know its capable of high power levels but its just played out. how long has that engine been around?? its time that mitsu develops a new engine and not jsut keep adding on to the 4g63

Lolz! OMG, that's like saying the 3S-GTE is played out. Is the 2JZTE played out already? Oh no, the Celica has been around for 7 generations, it's played out. :lame:
Hah, least to say I'm not very impressed by Xracer729 half-a$$ed comments. :idiot:

i never said that its not a powerful engine.I should have said doent impress me "anymore." my firend's brother took me for a spin in his 454hp GSX. im just saying that engine has been around for a really long time and i think mitsu should come up with somthing new. and STFU dragon, what makes your comment any better than mine? . and oh yeah its 2JZ GTE not TE

That is one, very large, intercooler.....
It looks like he somehow mated the 4g63 to the porsche transaxle. That must have been fun.

please don't use hip hop slang to describe a motor...ever again.

i dont see how one could get tired of an engine that provided him with a 454hp ride.

I'm not a big Porsche buff, but I was always under the impression that the engines that came with them would have plenty of potential. Why would you opt to swap it out of the car rather than build up the motor that was already in there?
I was also under the impression that a lot of Porsches positive handling characteristics were due to the low center of gravity from the boxer engines. Wouldn't the DSM engine totally throw the balance of the Porsche off?
In any case, that is some pretty impressive custom work that the owner has done. Having that big intercooler staring you right in the face sure is intimidating.:AF:
