yesterday a friend and i were using the alarm manual to try to reprogram the clicker so that all doors unlock when you press unlock once. my friend accidentally started reading the procedure for the passive alarm instead. when he reallized it, he stopped, and we did the correct procedure. it did not work, and now my clicker doesnt work at all, and the automatic ignition locking doesnt work. what can i do?

i have been doing that process for the past two days. maybe you can explain to me what the "add, rewrite, cofirmation, and prohibition" modes mean. i have only been doing it with the "prohibition" mode.
*1 time it's for add mode

*2 times for rewrite mode

*3 times for confirmation mode

*4 times for prohibition mode

ok, i did it again using 1 instead of 4, and now everything is back to normal.

so now, does anyone know how to get it so pressing unlock once does all the doors?

p.s.- thanks for the link johnny

toyotas use a double pulse unlock system bro. mean that the unlock trigger wire in the car has to see ground flash twice before it will unlock all the doors. If someone could tell me where the factory keyless output is I can tell you how to make it work with just one push of the button. Youll need to get a capacitor of a certain size and a relay...

There is a programming sequence for the OEM alarm that lets you do this though. Unless you have an aftermarket alarm, then what you said is correct.
