I am wanting to get a body kit for Christmas. I know of a few I might like, TRD, Kaminari, Wings West, and Veil Side but I'm not sure of quality. Would you guys chime in on how your kits fit, do all the lines line up right, best quality for money, materials, etc...
Thanks a lot in advance...hehe:cool:

Hmmmm...The TRD body kits are obviously discontinued. So if you still wanted it, you would have to buy a new celica and get the action package, or you could buy the non-painted ones which will cost you over 2 grands. But since TRD is from Toyota, of course they will fit the BEST and have the best quality of all those you listed. Then the next best would probably be the Kaminari. They use both polyurethane and fiberglass. I heard they fit very well, but to buying the kit and getting it painted will probably cost you
about 1200 for a good deal. (IMO, personally I don't like the looks of the Kaminari front bumper). Veilside is a very nice looking kit. I'm not too certain about the fit, but for the price of that kit, I think it better fit good. The best price for the Veilside kit would probably be about 1200 unpainted. Finally, the Wings West kit is kind of like the TRD wannabe. You could tell the differences between the TRD and Wings West. Like the Wings West kit doesn't stick out more on the sides and the rear. But the Wings West is the cheapest of them all. So if you're thinking of getting TRD, think of paying big bucks. . Maybe the Kaminari and Veilside is the way to go. They cost around the same but Veilside (I don't think they come in urethiane) is much more stylish and you will stand out more cuz not many has them. . Hope this helps ya, SORRY IF IT WAS TOO LONG

All of the body kits you have named are high quality and should fit with little or no modification. Most of them are big money though. the wing west is prety cheap. about 800 shipped i believe. Kaminari is probably the most bang for your buck at about 1000-1100 shipped. The 'real' trd and veil side kits are very expensive, but the quality is unmatched. Its all about how deep your pockets are. All the price i stated are without paint. Hope htis give you an idea of the kit you want.

Thanks a lot,
I don't think I want to get a kit that replaced the front bumper. First, I will have to pay a lot and second if it wasn't top quality my lines would be messed up. I am really fairly conservative and have been thinking about the Wings West. I don't like adhesives at all so I will have to retrofit bolts if possible. I just want to make sure Wings West will fit nearly exactly, with no gaps or anything. I don't really want to spend a b*tt load of money but want a good bang for my buck. Where is the best place to get a Wings West (if there good)?
Thanks Again

If you want the Wings West you could get it for like 630 shipped from like MB autosports. But there are people trying to sell their Wings West kit from time to time on the "For Sale" forums. So if you wait until Christmas I'm pretty sure you could get someone's kit. They usually sell it for lower than 600 already painted, but that's because its been used.

The best price Ive seen on the Veilside kit was 1500 without paint and without the wing. I dont know where you saw 1200, but I dont think they go that cheap without being used. Not trying to flame. I was really interested in buying that kit but could afford it.

Thanks a lot guys,
I really like the Veilside but that is some phat coin! I can hear my wife now... Anyway, I think I'll wait and watch for a kit for sale in Super White. Mostly, I just didn't want to get a sh*tty fitting kit. I've had lots of bad experience with aftermarket parts. For at least $500 you would think it would fit well.
Are they useing anything special paint-wise on them? Don't you have to use some sort of rubberized primer? I know the rubberized paint looks a little funky but it holds up pretty well. The reason I ask is I had some plastic corners repainted on my old truck and the paint pealed off

Can't go wrong with the WWest kit. I'm glad I chose it. Paint, quality and install is top notch:).

How about the RMM body kit? I have heard nothing but good things on the quality and fit and it is understated.
