i was wondering if you could buy just a shift light and not a big tach, and somehow link it to the ecu so that the light come on just before the rev limiter, any ideas?

if you have a GT i have a 7000 RPM pill kit for you. even if you have a GTS the kit comes with a 7800 RPM pill, so if want to shift early. good luck

I use a 8000 rpm pill cuz 1st gear is too fast for me to catch :)

you can also just buy a resistor from Radio shack instead of spendin $35 for a pill kit you can can get away by just spendin $2.
I can post the values if any of you are interested.

I believe that the smaller shift lites that are offred, will only work on 6 or 8 cyllinder motors.....this one from autometer is the only one out there for our 4 bangers

i have a razo shiftlight which is really small. you dont need any pills to adjust your rpm. it comes with the little computer thing where u can adjust the light. pics are at http://photos.yahoo.com/bccelica u gotta look around the folders. i forgot which one i put it in
