hey jamie...thanks a bunch on the compliments, i'm real happy with the way everything's bee going too. i got my gauges for like $95 i think from www.autodynamic.com and the red needles/blue gas and temp gauge on a group buy from importintelligence.com.
i belive it was like $100 or $120 for them. we've gotten where we meet up nearly every week or so now so if you ever get free, you should stop by. if you ever want to see where we are, you can call my cell (404-234-6482) and maybe you can make it out. see you later...

You see the first time I didn't even Know Jamie but I was cruzing with a friend and A Carbon Blue GTS pulls up next to me this guy in the passenger seat just kinda knods (Jamie) and his wife was driving I gunned it chirped second no and the other Celica couldn't even keep up, We pull up to the next light and Jamie says my wife can't drive a 6 speed, The light goes greeeeeeen we go again and still its me infront well kind of side by side, and we both see a cop coming the other direction and the race was over,

Second race-
I am going to the Mountain run and the same Carbon Blue GTS pulls up next to me at a red light, he rolls down his window I ask if he was going to the mountain run and of course he was and the light went green we went and we were side by side until he hit lift and see ya he was just a BLURRR, it was fun though and when we got their we realized that we had raced before but it was his wife driving it was really funny,

Thanks for the info on the gauges Cody. Your car is badass!! I wish I had the $$ to do all that. Well, I do I guess but it's been going into my Camaro (which will be running soon)
And also, Cody, bring it on, the more the marrier. I wish you guys would have been with all of us after NOPI. It was like 2 in the morning and we had Me racing IcyJaws w/LarryD in the car, Liquid (Dan), Barry, Bill, and Jeremy all racing each other simultaniously for about a 7 mile stretch. Me and IcyJaws went at it several times from a stoplight, rolling start and top end. It was awesome and yes, I beat him everytime. I really miss getting together with the Celica family. I'll try to get some time aside.

And yes, I had the money for the 17" Shoguns (sp?) that I wanted
and then decided to buy the motor for my camaro with it so no new wheels. I wound up buying a set of FALKEN ZE-502'S for my stock rims. Tires look sweet and handle nice except taking off on wet roads. SUCKS A$$ for traction!!! I think that I'm going to get the AEM underdrive pulley set soon so watchout!! I'll be looking for ya :)

yea, too bad i didn't know everyone back during the time of nopi, that sounds like it was fun. i'll be down for the next race though, maybe i'll have my flywheel/clutch/lsd by then. and yea, i'm still selling my wing, i think i have some pics of the damage somewhere. e-mail me at codywellons@hotmail.com if you want to see them and i'll send them back to you. the damage isn't very bad, i've actually been driving with it like it is for a couple of months now and it's not that noticable. oh, and too bad you don't need some 4 lug shoguns (if thats the wheel you were wanting), i have a set on my old car that i'm trying to get rid of (maybe you can make them fit...haha).

The ones in the group buy section are different then the ones were getting, I think Duncan said that these are new from TRD they are the TRD Japan Spring/Struts, that are going to replace the current US version.

The stuts will give you a better ride, When you lower the car your struts are automatically compressed and their is less downward travel then before but A whole lot of upward travel this is the reason some cars that are lowered will bouce I think, thats what it is, With the new struts they are made for the lowering springs and will have an equal amount of up and down travel, If I am wrong someone please correct me I am not completly sure this is accurate but it does have something to do with it.

haha...actually, it's 235 whp. thats how i took down that wrx the other night too(that did actually happen though, not sure how, but i have 2 wittnesses). anyway, somehow my powermeter is reading 235hp now. it was at 201 for quite a while which seemed fairly reasonable, but just last week it gave 235, even without driving any. the only thing i had added were my 2 nc.org stickers, so that must be the cause...haha...actually, i think what could have happened is my new gauges are interfering....they're working good, but the only problem is that i have to let off the ignition real slow or the lights to the gauges won't come on (however the needles, which are hooked to the same power source, are). so i'm thinking that holding the ignition in a little longer is possibly sending some strange signal to the powermeter, but i really dont know. the dyno chart still peaks at 201, so i know the 235 didn't happen while i was driving. im gonna re-set it once my gauges get calibrated and see what it's making then. i'm sure most of you don't really care but just thought i'd explain my odd situation anyways.

yea, i'll check as soon as i can find my body shop guy (i've heard he moved his shop, but he didn't put anything about this up at his old one and isn't answering the phone, so finding him is turning out to be a bit of a problem). and the smoked headlights are actually tinted, they just use a transparent film to do that. i'd like to find out the price too, i might end up going by a tint shop near me soon to see if they could do it and how much. i'll let you know if i find out anything. cant wait for the rest of yall to get the stickers too and join the 230+ hp celi club that we'll have going on...haha...and for the meet, i think we were planning on getting together saturday after the auto-x school that me and mark are going to. not sure how long it lasts, but we can just call everyone once it's over and then meet up somewhere.

I got an awesome deal on mine. There's a guy in Lawrenceville that has a tint business out of his house. He'll tint it whatever tint that you want. (Mine's 5% on the back 3 windows/front strip and 20% on the doors). I paid $110 with the front strip. ($100 without). LMK if you want his # and I'll find it for you.

Scott, I checked at Lams a while back but I cant remember exactly what they said it would cost. I was mainly checking on a tint strip for my windshield before I decided to do the silver strip instead. I do remember being surprised that it was fairly inexpensive. I don't like the Toy store. The couple times I've been there the people didn't know anything, and were kind of rude.

I am going out with some fiends from work and to be introduced to this girl at 7:30 saturday night. If you all are still out doing something later on hopefully I can meet up with you. I'll try to call Cody or whoever when I leave there. Nick said he thinks the people that were supposed to be at Hybrid last week should be there tomorrow night. I had never been to Lams before, but when I went a month or two ago they had just moved. I didn't see the speaker shop. Lams is down in the old Goodyear tire building by Goldspeed now if you didn't know. It is a nicer place than the Toystore. It is starting to look kind of run down. I think the side window stickers were $5 a piece if I remember correctly. All I have to do is call him and he can do it the same day and I'll pay him when I pick it up. I saw him today and I told him I need to get him to make me another silver band for my windhsield. I'll probably go down there this week sometime to get that from him and I could get those for you at the same time if you want.

Mark, I am probably going to go ahead and get him to order mine on monday. Since the shipping is not an issue it doesn't really matter if we all order them at the same time. I'll either call you or you can call me(770-540-7495). I'll talk to him tomorrow night and maybe we can work it out so he'll go ahead and order yours and Barrys anyway. It will probably be at least a week before they get here so that should be enough time to get the money to him. He is still waiting to hear back from his friend at TRD about the prices for the LSD, clutch, and just springs.

yup, this sucks about the sig not working...i'll have to find some free place to use. i'll call everyone tomorrow when we get done. jamie, all you really need is a screwdriver and a lot of patience. also, wings west apparently decided not to send me my screws to put the new one on so i had to use the old ones, therefore you'll have to find 4 small screws that can hold the wing to the trunk. it shouldn't be hard though, most any hardware store should have them real cheap. i'll tell you more about it tomorrow though if you have any questions. now i think i'll go to bed so i can be nice and rested for the racing tomorrow...

Heh, yea she wakes me up every weekend at 8:30 or earlier. I can't go back to sleep and crap. Anyway, I go to take my car to get the oil change this morning and some ho in my apt just got an IS300, smoke grey... I don't really like the body style in the more conservative colors, I'd prevoiusly liked it in yellow. Anyway, so I took my car to get oil change at the dealershiop and asked whe nI could bring it in for belt tensioner and turns up they have the part in stock so they are doing it now. It'll be out at 3:30 so I can meet up after that.

Nice meeting you guys!! Thanks for the wing Cody. Notice the time, yes the spoiler is already on!! A little trick for you on installing the four bolts. If you don't have a magnetic screw-driver, just put a little tape on the end of the screwdrive/bolt. Worked very good. I'll take some new pics tomorrow. (like you don't know what it'll look like :) )
