Ok so after i get my wheels i will have to drop my car. I wanna make it up my curb so i don't want to low...i was thinking 1.5 to 1.75 drop.
Ok so now....Do i need these "camber" things??? i heard there is enough play with the stock camber things that you don't need them. so tell me you opinion on this please.
Now what is a "strut"??? i always see..You need new struts but i have no clue what people are saying when they say this.
So how much does it cost aprox to lower a celica? Thank you.
TRUE NEWBIE QUESTIONS :)

i can help a little...if you plan on getting a kit, go with TRD springs. they're about 1.3 inches but look real nice after you have a kit. any lower than that and you'll end up scraping way too much. with that amount, you shouldn't need a camber kit, but i think most anything over 1.5 or 1.7 and you probably will. if you want to get in on the trd shocks/springs deal, talk to duncan (cbr600drm on here), a guy he works with is hooking him and a few of us other atlanta people up with a good deal. i think it's supposed to be $550 or so, then installation will probably run $100-150. or if you want to go a little cheaper, you can get just the trd springs for $175 from west covina toyota. that's all i have right now but eventually i'm gonna get the shocks too. and for a good quick rundown of what the struts/springs will do, go to http://www.wctoyotasport.com/Celica/CelicaEnd28/index.htm
hope this can help...

THANKS Cody
Well i won't get in on that deal. I's gonna order my wheels and tires next week so i will be poor till i get a job. I think i will leave my car high for a while then get a trd exhaust to give me allittle more go and for the sound and then get the springs. :)
thanks for the fast reply. and i will get those trd springs. Does TRD still make are springs? or did they discontinue them?]

no problem...yea, TRD is still making the springs but just this past weekend, duncan heard from his guy that they are changing some stuff up on their suspension kit. (not sure if the springs themselves will be changed though). all he heard though is that it is supposively gonna be all made from trd japan (instead of the u.s. stuff), and have a stiffer spring rate. and that's all i've heard so far...

What is a good drop to make it over most speed bumps without scraping?
