70 pages now ... I got up to around page 12, then skipped all the way to the end to check out if someone had posted a summary (which someone did, thankfully).

Very interesting situation, and I hope it turns out well for the guy that got screwed.

Everyone should check it out, cause you never know, one of us here could be next in line to get screwed over! There's a lot of nice posts going into details about contractual online auctions, as well as some other stuff...

this **** happens all the time on eBay. honestly, if it were me, i'd let it pass as it's understandable. dealerships in particular have no problem screwing people in real life, good luck getting anything online. especially since the guys who make the decisions don't know jack.

if this gets resolved in any way acceptable to the victim, awesome for him.

that dealership, is here in my home town, they do suck ass. they gave my boss's brother a good price for an evo, so he flew in from california to come pick it up, and they they gave him some sh!t, so my boss raised some hell with them, and his brother told them that he flew from california to pic the car up, well they got in contact with Mark, the owner and told him he would be sued if they didn't deliver the car, well they got the car but had to go trough a lot of sh!t. mark mitsubishi sucks balls.

I believe it's on page 111 or 112 that he posted that they're going to sell him the car.

many dealerships in Scottsdale suck. What about the Toyota dealership. Had mess up something on a friends car and burnt the engine of his landcruiser and then refuse to pay. Oh, and my other friend, she sign to pay $370 dollars for installation of springs and shocks on a Celica and they demanded 570 after a few hours...they told her to go and pick up her car if she did not like it, they were so rude to her its unbelievable...wish i could take law in my hands with dealers sometimes.
