so im on my way to toyota to pick up some touch up paint for my celi, and i merge onto the main Hwy shift from 5th to 6th at about 60 MPH and all the sudden the car bogs down so i shift back to 5th and it did it agian so i go to 4th (im about 40Mph now) and its still bogging down, then the check engine light comes on then goes off so i push in the clutch and the car dies as im coasting i try to start it and it wont start it just keeps cranking so i coast into a parking lot and try to start it agian, nothing but white smoke out of the exhaust that smells like gas. so after i call a tow truck i finally get it to start and it smokes really bad (white smoke that smells like gas) so it will run but it sputters and idles really ruff, kind of like its missing and my A/F gauge reads low in the lean even when i rev it up. well its at toyota now and will be looked at monday morning. any one have any ideas ive never mis-shifted or redlined it.

Ouch...and with how heavily modded your car is, I am going to venture a guess and say that the dealership is going to be a ***** about this and give you hell before they even consider covering it.

Sounds like a blown head gasket.

how does a car just blow a head gasket when your driving 'normal"?

I had a similar bogging problem coming home last night from a meet. Shifted into 6th at about 55, set cruise control, and all of a sudden the car started jerking and bogging and shiat. I cut out the cruise and held the gas steady, same thing. I noticed however that my hood wasn't completely shut ( :wtf: ) so I pulled into a Burger King, slammed it, and then drove the rest of the way home with no problems.

:wtf:

that sucks dude. i'd like to see toyotas reason for not warrantying your problem with the mods you have.

no nitrous, no f/i, etc....

well it turns out that it was my #2 injector dumping as much fuel in to the engine as it could. somewhere in my wiring for the injector a wire got pinched and grounded out the injector, the tech at toyota said it was in my driver side kick panel! are there wires down there for the EFI ? oh and im getting charged $238 for fixing the wires because it wont be covered under warranty.
