Ok, I just wanted to let you guys know that there are some new turbo systems in the making. We are making a kit for the 1zz-fe engine (mr2 spyder, celica gt, corolla, matrix) that will put the engine to around 200hp without being over 3grand. We are looking to do this at a low boost so no intercooler needed, or an expensive ecu upgrade. For the 2zz-ge (celica gts, matrix) we are planning a kit to give us around 75+ for a start, and do custom due to each order as the customer wants. Our project gts will be running a system around 400 @ wheels. We plan to have these kits avalible to you before october and we will be attending sema most likly. Any questions post them, or email me and I will be glad to answer. Thanks for your time :)

Any details on running more boost and getting the car closer to 300 hp.

Will the exhaust system be available separately, and what are the details?

djslik: We are planning 4-6psi boost. If you are speaking on the gt kit, If you want more hp out of the kit we will happily sell you the kit more highly tuned with the required fuel mods needed, as well as the intercooler setup. On the gts, it will be running 6-8psi on a t04 turbo, which wont go to full boost until around 3.5k which will be perfect for the way the celica gts' vvtl-i runs.
gts24: We have 2 exhausts planned on the gts. One for turbo system, which will be included. And one for the N/A guys. Most likly we will claim the n/a exhaust *for off road use only* due to noise, and we arent going to even think about emisions. If you want performance, get it.. if you want a green machine buy a toyota pirus hybrid :) The n/a system will eliminate the main cat most likly because the cats on toyota really choke off the engine.

I have a gt and I really want to get more power out of my car. I konw that David Draper is coming out with a kit sometime within the next 2 months. I called him up personally to check up on the project. I want to know how your kit will compare. I do want the intercooler, ecu upgrade, and quality exhaust manifold, with all the other good stuff. I am prepared to do some engine modifications to take the extra boost. From what I heard the gt engine can take up to 12 psi without needing mods. I don't mind the $3000 dollar price tag as long as i'm getting something with a lot of r&d and quality workmanship. Also is there going to be any kind of warranty for damage or anything. I know this is a lot, but I am very tired of waiting for Turbo and I just want something now.

Hell that's what I'm lookin for. I could care less about emissions. I live in Minnesota, if they ever try the greenhouse crap I'll just move back to ND.
BTW, I don't want a buzzsaw sound, I'd like a nice deep tone, any way to get that with this system?

could you tell us the price range for the gts turbo kit.will you disable the lift function??will the kit include a return fuel line??? what will the kit include???? injectors, ecu, intercoler, biger fuel pump???? could you please give more details???
Would you be selling the manifold seperately? In any case I'm definatly interested in it for my GTS

Can you please elaborate on that? Will the kit be running around 400@ the wheels or your project, gutted Celica Dragster?

Yea, can we get more info on the GTS kit? Previous turbo talk has always said to get that high of a PSI it would require lowering compression, what are you doing in that regard?

Sorry if I sound skeptical, but please let us know when you have pics, dynos, or other hard evidence of your progress. Many companies have promised turbos or s/c's for our cars, but none have delivered yet.

First of all, thank you very much for showing interest and developing parts for the Celica, Keyshawn thanks you also but he is in his skeptical mode right now (right Keyshawn ;)). I would love to hear about all the details you have for this and any other products that are available for the Celica.
Also if you could give some background on your company I would love to here it.
Hey Keyshawn, here's an idea. I think we should get all the screennames of all the actually manufacturers that come to this board and maybe periodically ask them for updates. If we have there screennames then we could e-mail then to tell them about the threads becasue I'm sure that they dont check the board as often as we do ;)
Here are teh ones I cant think of so far:
David Draper (West Covina)
MattTheTerror (No Limit Enterprises)
Chris from Weapon-R
Hotchkis
Injen
Anybody else?

Also what size turbo will u be using on the gt?
Will it be a strictly bolt on affair?
Would it be possible to get the intercooler with the "beginning kit"
Also what do u plan to do with the ignition timing etc..
Fuel injectors etc...

you said you would be running about 400 with your gts showcar or whatever it is correct me if i am wrong but wouldnt that destroy stock internals and if so then would you be selling replacements for stock internals so the engine can hold more boost just curious and lastly what would the cost be on a 400 HP system. thanks for your time

Wow, Lot of responses. First off, we will sell the turbo manifold seperatly if wanted. Our gts kit will come in any power wanted. Our base 75hp kit will include turbo, manifold, fpr (fuel presure reg) intake, and all the needed vacume lines and other things needed for installation. Most likly this will be a t-28 turbocharger. We havent put our celica gts through our flow tests yet to see what will be optimum. Our "show car" will be the car that will be showing our stuff off. We actually have some very interesting technologies we have developed with the pistons that have shown tremendous gains in some of our private research. We will be dropping compression to around 9.1:1 compression on forged pistons, forged crankshaft, forged connecting rods, custom cams, 550cc injectors and we also have a fuel rail that is made for the return line to the fuel tank. This we will be avalible very soon, Price undetermined. You can buy it by its self for a price or buy it with a stock exchange and get it cheaper. So be swapping your core fuel rail for upgraded version. On the gts exhaust for na, it will not be ricey at all. Our systems have been said to sound "ferrari like" due to the deep growl, only one word really discribes it "evil". Again thanks for you guys intrest. I have come to expect skeptism, and accept it..

Turbo on 1zz engine will be either a t-28 due to fast spool. T-28 will be at full boost by 3k rpms which is a nice spot. This kit is built for ease of install and use. Totally bolt on and off for those who need to take it off for a toyota check up. You can request a intercooler with the beginner setup. Ignition timing will be retarded by tricking the stock ecu in the beginner setup, You can however vouch for the s-afc which we will suply at a discounted price through our parent company no limit (see link in sig) If you want the safc with your kit and are near our shop in florida we will glady install and tune it for ya.

Auto GT tranny wont be as much as a problem as the twigs they call axles. I think 200hp would not be a problem at all. Going more could pose problems. We will find out in research. Actually its the guys next door who have the dyno, I dont think we could quite spend the 40grand to drop one in at the beginning. We are going to closing on the new building tomorow, its a 3,000 sqft, 2 garage bay complex. Right next to merritt island airport. Right now its occupied with tires but that will be changing soon enough. We have been researching like crazy on my friends gts on the exhaust cause we dont want a ricey sound and make power. Thanks again for your interest.

Interesting developments on the Spyder list:

Doesn't look too promising.

Screw these guys, I say run. NLE is saying they have nothing to do with this guy....... he's a web designer...
How ridiculous is this. The manager/owner should have a lot more control than this.

And people wonder why I'm one skeptical mutherf*cker. Damn, I'd be pissed as hell if I owned that No Limit Enterprise business, and this Matt guy was using that name without permission. Sucks for that company.

Hello Everyone!!! I would like to quickly clarify some things. My name is Rob, the owner of NLE. When this post was first made I had no clue it was up. A few of you had called and emailed and totally suprised us. Matt had our name in his signature to hopefully spread the word about us and help some people out with any questions. Your right, this should have been controlled. Matt has started his own company in Florida,(we are located in NY), and wanted to do this. I told him not to post untill he had soem hard core results or an actual product. He ignored that and posted anyway. If some of you have visited the link to spyderchat you will see all the details. As for now, Im Hoping to clarify things that in NO WAY, we have anything to do with this. We do not have or will not be producing any turbo kit for the Celica. I would suggest you call my good friend Bottle at Titanmotorsports, and talk with him about one. I know they do alot of Celica stuff and might be able to help you guys out. Tell him I sent you over to him.
For now, I would like to applologize for any inconvienience, any hopes you had, etc... Matt and his energie company may come through, so I would talk to him about it.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. I HOPE THIS CLEARS SOME THINGS UP!!!!!
Rob
