View Full Version : Toyota Celica 190/GT-S in March 2002 EVO Magazine
Check out the link if you're interested. I know I've collected nearly every Integra Type R article written in the English language. Thought some of you Toyota Celica guys would like to do likewise.

Lo again Chui Hows Michigan? Still under the snow? :)
Hehe, I live in the UK yet I never seem to see that magazine, although I dont really go looking for it either. Looks like a good month to buy it, with the comparisons and the Corolla T-Sport too. Thats been getting great reviews here, as has the Corolla in general.

i don't remember much, over all it was good... what stuck to my head was they described the 2zz as "schizofrenic engine"

What gives, Bobbeh? Yep, there's still rudiments of snow about. Elf's been garaged the whole time, too. Actually, we've got sh*t for winter here. Not much snow at all and the weather has been mild. The roads are as f'd up as ever and there's salt all over. SO [sigh!] I wait and wait. Actually, I'm taking Elf to Baton Rouge, LA. I despise the airline industry now and I need to go home ASAP. It'll be interesting driving, no doubt.
I look for EVO every month and I subscribe to two Aussie magazines [WHEELS and MOTOR]. I also read AUTOCAR and CAR at work and purchase the ones of particular interest.

I've just finshed reading that issue of Evo, and its a quality mag, good choice Chui... you dont own shares in them do ya? Ive seen you mention them a few times now :)
Only downer was the 3 star rating they gave the MKIV supra, peons!
The Celica-T sport got a good review as did the new Hyudai coupe, which I think looks pretty cool. (especially for a hyundai)
They didnt think the Corolla was that great, the handling wasnt that great apparently! Oh well.
Thanks for the welcome, SlasherX. When did you call, Troy? Ring me back, please. I had your number stored on our Message Manager, but it began truncating info over the holidays!
Nah, I don't own any shares in them, Bobbeh, but I sure wish I did. I've spoken with some of the people there and asked them if they needed any American testers. They laughed. Hell, we both laughed. I don't like it as much as I did Performance Car, but it has many of the same driver/writers so I really can't complain.
I've not seen it on the newsstands yet, but I'll be in Ann Arbor tomorrow and I do know of a place [that will remain unnamed] that does stock it so I should have mine tomorrow!
