need help w/ cd changer

i have a pioneer avh-p6400 in my car, and recently bought a pioneer cd changer. i installed it today, when i play a cd it only comes out of the driver side speakers, not the passenger side. but when i turn on the radio it is fine. and if i try to adjust the balance it doesn't help. anybody know why?

sounds like a cable isn't plugged in all the way

Either that or you crossed the speaker wires wrong. Like you installed the negative speaker with the positive speaker. Double-check the connections Bob.

crossed the speaker wires wrong? no man... if the radio works normally but the changer doesn't there's
-either something wrong w/the changer
-something wrong w/the cabling from deck to changer
-something wrong w/the input on the deck

if the stuff is fairly new, i'm gonna go the cabling route

it works ok with the radio. oh yeah, and i saw your car in super street too!

i checked all the connections and they are ok too. probably something wrong with the changer because i got it used.
