New Powerplant On The Way..!!

HOTCHKIS TUNING is awaiting the arrival of the new powerplant that will go under the hood of our Celica.... From what I've heard it's going to have a limited slip dif, new rings, pistons, valves and a lightweight aluminum head... Can't wait to put it through its paces on a road course... The car is making some incredible times and passing everything in sight already... The new motor will definately see some major TRACK events this year....

DUDE..... This is "TOP SECRET"... So this will be all I can say until they find out it was me who leaked it..!! hehehe.... It's basically going to be a highly tuned GTS motor with variable timing and all the fixins'.... all the parts I listed before and probably a new elctronic igniton system and wiring....But like I said B-4, I'll let everyone know as soon as I do....When it's actually here....C-YA..

Didn't someone mention that a TRD higher up was really into making a Type-R style version of the Celica. This would seem to fit the bill.

They already released it last year in Europe. Its called the T Sport Celica with 190bhp and 9000rpm redline. Exclusive in only 2 colors.

T-Sport? That was an old topic and everyone said it was exactly the same as the GTS...unless you have a different source. 9000 RPM Redline sounds very odd for the 2ZZ without big time money mods.

TRD M has significant structural advances in welding and rigidity.. T sport is the ghey ass GTS without the OBD requirements of the US and so it makes a bit more HP... thats it...
