2 questions,

1) he messed me up my car pretty bad. I know part of the chassi has bends and wrinkles in it, but the guy at the Toyota body shop says that the car can be fixed. He basicly said that the unibody should not see anymore weakness except in the places where the welds are and that it should be minimal. is this true?

2) can I get them for the value loss on my car?

Well you need to take it to multiple shops and get different evaluations of what they think... I dont' know if that's possible, but that'd be the first step,,, geez if the chassi is messed up I can't see how it's not "totalled"

I work for an insurance company. It is totally legal for us to bend a frame back into shape. However, we owe you depreciation on the overall value. If you are dealing with one of the big insurance companies, this shoudln't be a problem. If its one of the cheap-o companies, be prepared to fight it out.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

I dunno, the Toyota guy seemed to know what he was talking about, but then the dealers hardly ever know what they're talking about right? ;) I may ask one of my friends co-workers to go take a look at it for me and see what he thinks of it too....

Thanks for the replies guys! and sideshowbob you have a PM!

Thanks again!
