The trd at my dealership told me today that the ss is imported from japan so the shifter is curved the wrong way

is that true for the trd shifters on our cars or did he not now wtf he was talkin about

The shifter is fine, do you feel a curve in your stock? no... The shifter comes straight up so it feels fine.

well under the boot u can actually feel a slight curve but
this guy made it sound like the shifter was gonna be in the passangers seat or somethin

that dealer is full of ****. just like all dealers, they don't know a thing but think they do (or pretend to). it works just fine.

Well there is a small problem with short shifter, it will not fit in the newer model Celicas because of wider wastgate (not sure if this is what they call it), it will not shift properly for the newer celicas. (That is what alot of people is saying) Other than that I do not see any problem, well maybe trying to find one...
