don't let anyone tell you that it doesn't make a difference.

it does. the darth civic was finally brought back to hypers to get the emanage/ecu properly soldered. The engine now starts without hesitation and also pulls a lot stronger.

I believe the performance increase was due to the soldering of the wires to increase signal strength and lessen resistance.

also an added bonus: my slight boost loss seems to have gone away... hmmmm.

next week: greddy should have a new fuel map for the emanage. I will have to find out if they will ship a new one out to me.

Finally!! Glad to hear that your car was actually finished properly Scotty, and great to hear that it's made an improvement!!!

So is this finally over?? Or do you have more that still needs to be corrected?

$450 for the titanium can and some other parts. its a little smaller than the apexi with a straight through 2.5" inlet

Some additional things that I noticed after soldering the wires:
- engine starts up nicely now. previously the engine would hesitate then start.
- at idle there is very little backfiring and idle is no longer slightly rough.
- at shutdown, engine shuts off nicely again.

soldering DOES make a difference.

yep solderin is the proffessional way to go forget those cheap crimps and electrical taped twisting. it helps in the long run to prevent any problems. do it good the first time and don't worry bout it again is wat i think. I took a 8 hour soldering class for my job and they teach u everything u would want to know bout soldering. let me know if u guys have any ?s bout solderin.
