Well, I've gone and done it. I just spent $10 on my car and booted it into another class. I'm oficially street touring/street prepared now.
I installed the Kumosport aluminum shifter bushings last night.

I have to be honest, the product description is spot on.

These things really do make a difference, and I really do like them. It's not even very subtle. When you shift it just clicks into the next gear. The shifter is much notchier (I like this) with a solid thunk into the next gear, no wasted motion. I find a big difference on the GTS when going to reverse. That shift spring is pretty heavy, and it is much easier to get hte lever over there now.
The fun will last for a week, then I have to change it back for the Ft. Myers tour event.
In all, I would say that when autocrossing, it isn't going to make me any faster (it might, the shifts seem quicker now, probably working the synchros harder), on a road course it would be wonderful.
