Spacers with 17x7 wheels

Im pretty knowledgeable about most things about the car, but as far as wheels and spacers I know nothing. Im thinking about getting these racing hart c2 knockoffs that only come in 17x7 and not 17x7.5. So im wondering has anyone put spacers on 17x7 wheels to make the wheels stick out a little more cus Im looking to go budget style haha. I've searched and all I see is talk about spacers with 7.5 inch wide wheels. Thanks.

so what's your question? will spacers make a wheel stick out further? yes.

offset matters too though...even without any spacers, a 7" wheel with a low offset can stick out as far or farther than a 7.5" wheel with a high offset.

Stock offset is 39mm. So a 7" wheel with 39mm offset is already going to stick out 1/4" more than stock...every mm less in offset is another mm of stick-out. Up to you how far you want to go.
