i was wondering how much horsepower and kilowatts the celica GTS new model has?

and how long would it take a stock GTS to reach 0-100km?

plus.. how fast can a gts stock go up to (MAX SPEED) and how long would it take..?

If you're asking about the US GT-S, it has always been rated at 180hp (134.2kW), for the model years 2000-2004.

Top speed is around 135mph (217kmh) near the top of 5th gear. I'd expect it would take over 45sec to hit top speed?

0-100kmh should be around 7 seconds.

¼mi is low 15s.

Shouldnt u be asking how fast it is in the 1000m ?? To maintain the metric system u are using in the previous question. Not that it really matters...=)

On a stock or lightly modded Celica GT-S, there's too much aero drag to pull in 6th at those speeds. So, top speed comes in 5th.

speedo is off.. i know that the manual says 129mph with 5th gear, but could very...i saw some posts for Euro-spec saying 139 mph, but then all times posted for Euro-spec Celicas in magazines and web sites match the ones here...mostly talking about 0-60 times...There is 9 hp difference between the cars...the 192 ps posted whe converted to hp is 189hp...the difference to my opinion is the tuning of the ECU so it can run with slightly higher octane...

As for the varying power ratings, part of the difference is the differing standards (SAE vs DIN):

Celica GT-S (US): 180bhp SAE
Celica 190/T-sport (Euro): 192bhp DIN = 189bhp SAE
Celica SS-II (JDM): 190PS (JIS ?)= 187bhp SAE

I think the Japanese standard is the same as SAE.
