View Full Version : I need help installing S2000 antenna!!

OK guys, i just picked up the S2000 antenna and I have no clue where to start or what to twist and what not

can somone give me DETAILED instructions on how to unscrew the stock antenna and then put on the S2000 antenna!

also, what tools do i need if any?

please be as detailed as possible...i dont care if its super long, i just want to make sure i am doing everything right!

What he said, and add some Lock Tite to the threads just to secure it a bit.

no tools are needed, just grab the base of the antenna(metal part, not the rubber under it), and turn. should be off in a min, s2000 antenna should be on in half the time...

You need a hammer, a dildo, and an elephant. The elephant is for torque. The hammer is for hammering the S200 antennae on. The dildo is for putting up your newbie a$$

yeah..put some lock tite.. some queer stole mines when i parked it for 10 mins.. if i got back earlier.. i would have took out my bat in my trunk and my shank

I will be nice.

At the base of the stock antenna the antenna is not totally round. The antenna is flat on two sides. grab it with your fingers and turn counter-clockwise. If it is too tight then grab the flat sides with a pair of pliers. After it is removed just screw in the s2000 by hand.
